Nestled in the exclusive enclave of Cherngtalay, the Amanpuri Private Villa project demanded a window treatment solution that could bridge the gap between architectural grandeur and intimate living. Our vision was centered on ‘Tropical Elegance’—utilizing materials that breathe while maintaining the strict privacy expected of a high-end estate.

We curated a bespoke selection of premium linens sourced from European mills, layered with delicate silk-blend sheers that catch the coastal Phuket breeze. The result is a dynamic light-play that shifts throughout the day, softening the harsh tropical sun into a warm, inviting glow that complements the villa’s natural wood accents and stone surfaces.

From precision motorized tracks to hand-finished hems, every element is installed with meticulous attention to detail.

The Challenge

The primary challenge was the sheer scale of the 6-meter floor-to-ceiling windows and Phuket’s intense humidity. Standard textiles would sag or develop mildew over time, while heavy motors were required to operate the massive curtain spans smoothly and silently.

The Solution

We selected moisture-wicking synthetic fibers that mimic the tactile feel of natural linen but provide superior durability. Our team installed heavy-duty Somfy motorized tracks hidden within architectural coves, allowing for effortless control of light levels via the villa’s smart-home ecosystem.
